Vintage USA made, GKG Co. Marked Hard Sided Suitcase, in Herringbone Tweed with Leather Trim & Handle, and GKG R22 Brass Locks. Vintage hard-case luggage in golden toned brown and yellow striped herringbone tweed, with dark brown leather trim and matching handle. Brass locks and hinges, with silver toned metal garnet bars on interior. Lined in a satin like tweed fabric.
Features Two Foldable Garment Bars in the lid to help hold & organize belongings. A fabric drape buttons to the folded up bar, pinning everything in place.
Long Pouches line three of the sides on bottom. Measures approximately 21" inches across by 8.5" inches thick by 18 inches tall plus the handle. Interior has some wear in form of scuffing, scraps, and wear to leather handle from age and use. Some discoloration and scuffing to metal pieces. Fabric interior is faded in places and needs a good cleaning from settled dust but is in general good condition with no rips or tears, tight elastic, and working drape snaps.
